Alright, maybe “tiny” is stretching it. But I’m already feeling much better thanks to kicking off the power-walking season. April is being really weird, as usual. Last Monday we had a snow storm, this week it’s summer. Here’s what my phone screen looked like today:
According to the news, the cranes have arrived from Africa. Haven’t spotted any of those (and I never do, unless I’m in Florida) but there’s plenty of other wildlife around to admire.



This week, I’m sticking to downtown, but soon I’ll venture into the city’s developing areas. These spots are usually a bit out of the way from subway stations, which is why they’re off my radar in the colder months. Every spring, I eagerly head there to check out the stylish new constructions and sometimes even stumble upon new shops or cafés worth exploring.
