Nope. Spring didn’t happen. It’s snowing again. Easter first, then spring, like always. 🙄

I’ve been binge-watching an old favorite tv series, Boston Legal. It’s a spin-off from The Practice, another iconic courtroom drama that aired in the early 2000s. Witty, sarcastic and intelligent humor is definitely my cup of tea, and these shows got it in spades.

Haha, maybe watching too many hours of this stuff is why I find lawyers so fascinating and love engaging in playful banter with them. A few years back, I even dated one. We connected on a dating app and almost got married (!) before we had a chance to meet in real life. Our email exchanges were so well-written, funny, and entertaining that we found ourselves practically drooling over each other’s replies. It was like a verbal chess game, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.

When we finally met (in NYC), we had a great time as well, but due to some irreconcilable differences, we didn’t end up together. Nonetheless, of all the wonderful dating experiences I’ve had, the online “dates” with this guy still rank among the coolest.

A sharp mind doesn’t automatically qualify someone for a date with me, I definitely need some other partnership goodies along with that. But let’s just say that even a billion bucks couldn’t warm me up to someone who tries to drown a fish…
