On the right side of zero

It’s almost spring! The thermometer is finally showing above 0°C, and if this keeps up for five days, it will even be called meteorological spring. Fingers crossed! 🌿

In practice, it’s still too chilly for power walks, so I’m keeping up my geek streak. Looking back at what I’ve done during past winters, there’s a clear pattern.

🤓 Winter 2020: was busy designing a website for a furniture manufacturing company. Bought an awesome desktop computer + monitor. Still head over heels in love with it.

🤓 Winter 2021: went from being a crypto virgin to learning about how blockchains work and understanding why DeFi is the new black. As a result, some of my investments are in Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cardano.

🤓 Winter 2022: researched web3. Didn’t buy any NFTs but couldn’t resist registering a whole bunch of crypto domain names. (Donations to this blog are welcome to meanwhileinparadise.wallet). I also spent some time learning video editing in DaVinci Resolve. Winter-OS made this winter extra cozy. I always follow figure skating and ice hockey.

🤓 Winter 2023: got hooked on AI. My favorites are ChatGPT, Midjourney and Adobe Firefly (I use it in Photoshop).

🤓 This winter: redesigned the landing page for my Swedish e-books, translated both the website and the books into English, and now I’m catching up on the latest front-end coding tricks and implementing some of them on this blog.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m part geek, part bimbo. 😄 The balance has been a little off lately and I can’t wait to let my superficial side flourish. Soon, it will be all about looks, relationships and plotting new adventures. I have NOT forgotten about this post.
