I’ve started the hunt for a new perfect nude lipstick because my all-time fave, YSL Rouge Pur Couture :: 10 Beige Tribute, got discontinued. I’m on my last tube now and I need to find a worthy replacement before it runs out. This lipstick was the dream — just the right mix of beige and pink, not too brown, not too warm, just perfect. So far, it’s been really hard to find anything like it. Here’s my first attempt: Armani Beauty Lip Power :: 102 Romanza.

Don’t let the photo fool you, they’re not as similar as they look. Romanza is a bit warmer and also turned out to be more like a lip gloss. It’s way to sheer and doesn’t last on my lips for longer than a half hour. I’m gonna use it on top of some pretty lip liners but the search for the real thing continues.
